James Farm Ecological Preserve
Join the Delaware Center for the Inland Bays for an interactive, environmental education experience at the James Farm Ecological Preserve! It will take place on Friday, March 26 from 1:00 – 2:30 p.m. Participants will immerse themselves in the diverse habitats at the preserve.

Program Description: Join the Delaware Center for the Inland Bays for an interactive, environmental education experience at the James Farm Ecological Preserve! It will take place on Friday, March 26 from 1:00 – 2:30 p.m. Participants will have the opportunity to immerse themselves in the diverse habitats at the Preserve while engaging in hands-on activities that explore the plants and animals that call it home.
About the Center: The Delaware Center for the Inland Bays is a private non-profit organization whose mission is to “preserve, protect, and restore Delaware’s Inland Bays and their watershed.” The Center is also part of the National Estuary Program,which is an ecosystem-based network of 28 organizations located along the Atlantic, Gulf, and Pacific coasts and in Puerto Rico that are designated as estuaries of national significance. About the James Farm Ecological Preserve: The Preserve (located at 30048 Cedar Neck Road, Ocean View, DE 19970) a 150-acre oasis of wildland on the Indian River Bay. There are diverse habitats on-site including a meadow, maritime forest, hardwood forest, freshwater wetlands, salt marshes, sandy beach, intertidal flat, and the Indian River Bay. Access is free and open to the public year-round.
