Fort Delaware State Park
Let's sail together to Fort Delaware and travel back to the summer of 1864! We will tour the parade ground, officers' quarters, barracks, kitchen, blacksmith shop, hear stories of great escapes, and watch as the Fort's Columbiad cannon fires a live gunpowder charge!

About the Event
We will step back and time and learn about Delaware's role in the Civil War. We will take a a half-mile ferry ride from Delaware City to Pea Patch Island. Costumed reenactors will take us back to the summer of 1864 and fill our day with hands-on history.
