ABOUT US
Coastal Wisdom brings together local instructors, elders, craftsmen, farmers, artists, naturalist, historians and other educators with families dedicated to learning about our local Eastern Shore community - its land, history, people and culture.
We believe that strong local community, and connection to the place we live is crucial to a healthier world.
We are dedicated to becoming better stewards of our land, children and community .
OUR VISION
Our vision is to bring together local wisdom keepers of the Eastern Shore to share their wisdom, skills and stories with local families to foster a stronger connection to the Eastern Shore and pass along the knowledge necessary for a sustainable, peaceful future .
WHAT WE DO
We organize monthly field trips, classes, and events for children and their families with local guides, storytellers, artists, craftspeople, and teachers.
OUR COMMUNITY
We are a group of local families from Delmarva dedicated to bringing educational opportunities to our children, fostering a sense of community and connection to the place we live.
